Fee Policies

Tuition

Tuition:

Tuition fees include HST and are due at time of registration, including all post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card payment.

Registration fee

Registration fee:

$25.00 registration fee (includes HST) per student is due at time of registration and is non-refundable & non-transferable.

 

 

Payment Options

Payment Options:

For our yearly classes, tuition may be paid either in one full payment or ten equal monthly instalment payments. When you register for a class, you agree to pay the full year tuition for that class from September through June. Registration will not be accepted without full payment, paid either yearly or monthly by post-dated cheques or pre-authorized credit card payment.

For session-based programs (Toddler & Me, PreSchool, Beginner Teen and Adult classes), fees are due in one full payment at the beginning of the session in fall, winter and spring.  All other classes are full year programs and tuition must be paid for the full year either in one full payment or ten equal monthly instalment payments as indicated above.

 

 

Monthly Installment plan

Monthly Installment plan:

Monthly installment payments reflect averaging yearly fees on a September to June yearly basis. Yearly fees are divided into ten equal payments, due on the first of each month, September 1, 2015 through June 1, 2016. Monthly fees do not reflect the number of classes paid for each month, rather they are equal installments of the yearly tuition fees taken over 10 months. When you pay monthly, you agree to make 10 payments from September through June.

 

 

Full Year Payment

Full Year Payment:

Fees may be paid in full in one yearly payment. If you pay the yearly fee on or before August 1, 2015, you will be eligible for a 5% discount. Please note: if a student withdraws from the program, the yearly fees will be non-refundable.

We accept post-dated cheques, VISA, Mastercard and American Express for method of payments.  All cheques should be made payable to: Contemporary School of Dance.  Payment method must be indicated at time of registration on completed CSD Payment Form.

 

 

 

 

Dance Company fees

Dance Company fees:

Upon acceptance into CSD Dance Company, there are additional company fees, to which no studio discounts apply.

 

 

 

Examination fees

Examination fees:

If your child is selected and agrees to participate in an exam, there will be additional costs to cover extra coaching classes as well as examination entry fees.

 

 

 

 

Costume Deposits

Costume Deposits:

Costume deposits of $50.00 per class per student must accompany the Production Commitment form due November 2015.  Costume deposits are non-refundable.

 

 

NSF fees

NSF fees:

“Non-sufficient funds” cheques are subject to a $25.00 service charge.
Outstanding balances: CSD will send out email reminders of outstanding balances or students/parents can check their account balance online through our registration software. CSD reserves the right to decline the re-enrollment of students with outstanding balances from previous years.

 

 

Late payment charge

Late payment charge:

10% surcharge will be applied to all late payments at net 30 days.
Private lessons: Private lessons rate: $50/hour; Semi-Private rate: $25/hour
Scholarships: Please inquire about our scholarships for male students or students in financial need.

FREE CSD T-shirt & Recital DVD:

All students who register on or before August 1, 2015 will receive a FREE CSD T-Shirt!
Please indicate your preferred t-shirt size on your Payment form when you register.

All students who register on or before July 1, 2015 will recieve a FREE PRODUCTION 2016 DVD!
